Basic Needs
Nobody in the community should face going hungry. Newport Foodbank provides emergency food for those in need. A referral is required through one of the local agencies. Simply visit the website or call 01633 822211 to help gain a referral.
St. Vincent De Paul Society (SVP)
A Catholic network of volunteers whose aim is to tackle poverty in all of its forms. The network offers friendship and practical aid regardless of faith, ethnicity, status or sexual orientation. So if you are feeling isolated and just need some contact, or if you need more practical help call the SVP National Helpline who can put you in touch with local representatives. If they cannot help, the helpline will point you in the right direction. During the Covid-19 crisis call 07587 035 121 for help and advice.
